Since the age of 10 the organ-music has become an important role in my life and turned out to be "my hobby". After 3 years of piano and organ education i could substitute the organist in the worships in my protestant home community of Frechen.
At the age of 16 i began a course of studys for the "C" - Examination for Church organ at the conversatory of Cologne. My woman teacher in the subject "organ" was herself a pupil of MARCEL DUPRE. When i was 18 years old, i spent my money on a modern Hammond-Organ (Korg BX3 with Wersi-Fullpedal), and after playing for the long time of 15 years on the Korg i3 WORKSTATION, i own since 2007 the

Korg PA800 - Personal Arranger Workstation

- a DREAM-KEY-BOARD, which domineers nearly all instruments, and thus is suitable for all kinds of MUSIC-STYLEs.

In the meantime music is the counterbalance to my profession. In the Information Technology there is often a very reactive responding, and you feel like extraneous driven. SO... making music on my own is somehow the antithesis of professions-daily-routine. Working on a ARRANGER WORKSTATION - you are by yourself part of a very "CREATIVE" activity process... ! The vast variety of SOUNDS (melody-Instruments) and STYLES (Rhythms) can be customized so individually that you have a never-ending source of diversions "to your hand". There is no difference wether you play Classics or Popmusic, even the good old Church-Music can be modified into a small accompaniment band.
The impression of a musical performance is in nowadays not limited thru the Keyboard-Implementations but even more thru limitations in abilities of the performer. Thus one has to be the master of the possibilities and settings up to the very detail! You have to rule the Operatings System - not otherwise.

Exactly because of this point i did never regret my decision in favour to the PA800 from KORG. Other manufacturers in the UPPER CLASS Segment of keyboards integrate a "cheesy" VOCALIZER, which produces only robotic-voices, or exclude a complete SAMPLING Section. The technological leadership of korg is easily demonstrated by the USB-Sticks of the PA500(xyz) which can be used in the PA800 or PA2XPRO and you've got a complete stunning new-sounding Keyboard with a completely other set of styles... THIS IS AVAILABLE AT THE MOMENT ONLY AT KORG PA-SERIES, thanks to the very good sampling section !
The only handicap i have to mention is the long 'BOOT-Time' of the PA800, if there are loaded Samples ... 'proudly' 70 SECONDS ... (OS 2.01)!

B U T : ... you receive a OPERATING SYSTEM "at its BEST" what you cannot find at the other keyboard - manufacturers. The very good product politics of korg lets you even use the Styles from the old PA-Series (i3, i4, i30...) ! Some of you may also have spent much money for their individual Style-Packages on fairs or musician-dealers. So you don't have to begin from ZERO ! With some "handy-action" you can polish up the old styles by referencing the new sounds on the tracks... THUS OLD STYLES GET A "FRESH" TASTE !

Note for other PA800 / KORG Workstation - Users:
In the English Forum i run under the Alias "TBLECK"... as you might have seen. At the moment i develope my creations only for the KORG PA800... Styles, Sounds, Pads, Performances, Samples... just for "domestic-use". I've been considered to have a very deep knowlegde of the operating sytem of the PA800. With KORG you get an enourmous ample scope of improving the already "very good" to make it even more the better to fit to your exact needs or dreamed imagination !

Note: if you realize, that the MP3's offered for Download sound even better then the styles you got to know from your keyboard... OF COURSE i have referenced many self-made-sounds in my style-tracks and switched off the option "FACTORY STYLE&PAD PROTECT" very early ! I also use the "free" Factory Style places for my own Styles.

{COPYRIGHT-Note} On this private Homepage there will to be downloaded ONLY COPYRIGHT-free CREATIONS done by myself ! Once again please: There is NO OFFRERING OF ORIGINAL MP3's but exclusively L-I-V-E self-recorded Arrangements or Improvisations on the PA800 Workstation!

The recording was done with the sound-Card in my PC. I do not own a MIDI Cable or something like that... Also there is no usage of PROGRAMs like Cubase or Logic. The Korg PA800 causes to give due to the BUILTIN ANALOG MIXER SECTION and Effect-Processors a vast range of operation facilities to get satisfying AUDIO Material as a result !
