you might have to struggle with the phenomenon, that some kind of Antivirus-Software (Norton e.G.) won't extract the PERFORMANCE-folder. In this case you have to disable the Antivirus-Program before you start the Extraction-Process of the ZIP-Archive ! Dont forget to RE-Start the Antivirus-Program aftwerwards. R E Q U I R E M E N T S ... To check out the following Korg-Sets is needed the Version OS V2.01 (12/2008 incl. DNC) for the PA800 at minimum ! All the SETS should even be usable on a PA2XPRO ! As usual: FIRST BEFORE LOADING THESE SETS YOU HAVE TO SAVE YOUR OWN WORK ... (MEDIA / SAVE ALL with activated "User-Sound & DK", "Pad", "PCM" and "Performance" Checkboxes). Who doesn't fear the loss of his SAMPLES, can use the command LOAD ALL ! Who wants to load SINGEL-SOUNDS: LOAD / OPEN / ... / OPEN ... USER02 are used so: select from there and save it on a free place in your USER-Bank. Loading of sounds with assigned samples need some more time to load, as you know ... so be patient on the loading process to complete ! |

Who doesn't know the problem:
You've got a Super-Style, a real fine INTRO but while REVOICING the sounds you discover, that the range of keys is so big, that the new assigned soundprogram seems to be innatural. EXAMPLE: A Piano-track should be replaced by a Guitar, or a String-Track by a Choir - Sound, who will sound unnatural because the natural key-range of a Choir (D2-A5) is exceeded. NOW, HERE IS THE SOLUTION ! "CONVOLVED" / "PLEATET" / "CREASED" Sounds, who "repeat" in the lower and upper octaves / pitches... I gained the Idea from classical ORGAN-Music... "Mixtures" are convolving too ! Korg offers 16 OSC's per Single-Sound for PA800 and PA2XPRO - Models, so by utilization of the parameter "Keyboard-Range" in combination with Octave-Shifts (-2 / +1) one is able to solve this problem... TIP: With the application of these Sounds you can get rid of the nasty editing of TRACK-Controls / Bottom&Top Key ! In this SET there is NO usage of SAMPLES (... only Korg-ROM-Sources !!!).

The Set is however suitable for replacements of Style-Track-Sounds in "economical" instrumentalized Styles. With the "random" - Panorama the sounds come along "BOLDER" as they are in reality! This SET came into existence thru an eMail-enquiry (-> CONTACT down the side) !
I deploy this SET of thick and FAT E-Guitars for personal usage as for LEAD-Sounds, but even STYLE-Track-Revoicing can be done. My special thank is made to the email-Question of Ferruh ! Some of the OSC's in this Set "disappear" in the 5th of the upper octave... since Santana this has been usual programming practice, so did i ! One of the OSC in this Set disappears in the UPPER Octave. Play the Brian May Sounds (1...5) with a HARD ATTACK and let "rest" ... and "hear" the Sound "lives" in the duration-time and changes his character... sweeps! This was achieved with very different durations in Pre-Delays together with detuned OSC's ! In this SET there is NO usage of SAMPLES (... only Korg-ROM-Sources !!!). The Set resides on the USER02 Sound Bank on the TAB-pages 1+2. The Sounds in this set are optimized in the point of ENFORCEMENT... may be you have to slew down the VOLUME-Sliders of revoiced Styles-Tracks ! ***Revoice-Tip Nr.1: Style Bank Dance / BARRY DANCE / ACC2 Sound "Funky Wah RX" swap by "Funky Wah Guitar.d" ***Revoice-Tip Nr.2: Style Bank Funk & Soul / SOUL/ ACC2 Sound "Vox Wah Chic RX" swap by "Vox-Wah-Chic.rx" ***Revoice-Tip Nr.3: Style Bank Rock / SOUTH SHUFFLE / VAR 4 / ACC2 all 3 "Dist-Gtr-RX2" swap by "Disto-Gtr 1+2.rx" or even ACC5 with "Funk Stein 1+2.rx"

With this Set there is published my "layered" Saxofon - Sounds from the ROMs.
On the last both TAB-pages of the USER02 Sound Bank reside but also Sounds, who use the SAMPLE-RAM. One part of the SAMPLES i've loaded in the year 2007 for free on the Internet, the other part resides till today on -> http://home.planet.nl/~aeduin/downloadKorg.htm ! But i've "PIMPED UP" all the "MONO"-Sounds made of only ONE OSC in SAMPLE-RAM ! The Set includes 81 Single-Samples and 8 Multisamples with together 15,6 MB RAM ! This fact have to consider all the people, who have already preloaded SAMPLES in RAM-Section ! You lose of the 699 Seconds Sampling-RAM (PA800) by loading this SET about 164 Sec., so there remain 535 Sec, if the RAM was empty ! Of course there can be loaded SINGLE SOUNDs ... i will divert the sounds in the following explanation if they consist of RAM / ROM or MIX - OSC's (RAM+ROM parallel!) Who doesnt want to load SAMPLING - Sounds, should only load SINGLE SOUNDS of these marked "ROM" - Sounds ... then there is no loading of SAMPLES ! The Set resides on USER02 Sound Bank on the TABs 14 to 16. The LOADING-TIME of this complete SET (PCG; KMP; PRF) takes about ca. 155 Seconds ! I created also a PERFORMANCE - Bank, which uses some of the USER02-SAX-SOUNDS The PERFORMANCE-Banks are NO Style-Performances, instead they are suitable for quick registration of Upper1/Upper2/Upper3 and Lower... with a "crisp" BASS at each Performacne and also ENSEMBLE - Function is used in 1 case.
